Philadelphia didn't get hit nearly as bad as other locations, but after spending over ten continuous hours out in the storm, I can vouch for its vicious winds and dangerous presence. But of course, that didn't stop me from going out there at 12am and again at 3am, sleeping, and going back out one last time for five hours.
The storm started around 6pm on Friday as a light snow, however by 10pm or 12am the winds were brutal and the snow was really coming down. It was like living the scenes in Star Wars: Episode V on Hoth. If you haven't seen it, its an ice planet with temperatures of -60F and fierce winds. If you didn't have your entire face covered and ski goggles, you were probably having a bad time.
